Issues

Economy

The last few months have been disastrous for our local businesses. From the beginning the decisions and liability for customer safety should have been in the hands of business, not government. Instead government insisted every business it deemed non-essential to shut down no matter the economic hardship. After reopening, some are working hard to recover and some have had to shutter their doors forever. If elected I will stand with business and demand their right to operate in times of crisis not be stripped from them.

Learning

If there's anything the last few month should have taught us is that we have to be more flexible when it comes to learning. Our schools are amongst the best in the state, yet we find ourselves at a disadvantage and an opportunity with the current crisis. We should be more pliable when it comes to school choice, homeschooling, e-learning, vocational training and also be able to interchange them to give the advantage to individual goals. I will listen to families that want a choice or have ideas of their own they want to present. I will push for vouchers if they want to make their own choice as well.

Government Spending

I give my pledge that I will not be on board with any unnecessary spending an will do everything I can to cut spending. Period.

Peace through Prosperity

Without a doubt this is my best reason for wanting to represent you. Our world is in a state of uncertainty with a large amount of fear being perpetuated. There are a lot of voices but it seems not many in power are listening. Your voice is important and I always like to hear ideas. Ideas bring solutions that move us all forward. I look forward to hearing yours.
